Electric pallet stacker(s) are driven by electric motor. It has been designed in order to pick up, consolidate pallets & deliver. If you will check the average weight of empty pallet then it will be around 2o-40 kg. The size might vary & might be around 100*122 cm. So you can assume that how problematic it might be to lift & stack even an empty pallet manually. But if the pallet will be fully loaded then it will be almost impossible to manage without motorized assistance. In case the weight doesn't exceed 1500kg(s), an electric pallet stacker will be able to carry loaded pallets. But if you want to carry heavy load then you need to take help of heavy duty stacker.
If you will try to categorize as per design then there will be three types, those are as follows:
1) Counterweight stabilized forklifts
2) Fork over pallet
3) Straddle legged forklifts
