The Hyundai Tucson with Touches of Renovation in Configuration & Function, Design & Style

It has been five years since the Hyundai Tucson rolled out in the global market. The launch of dozens of car models with chic and classy look from other brands has put the sale of the traditional Hyundai model on the wane. The Tucson remained unaltered while its peers underwent transformation in design and style for several times. To keep pace with its competitors in the present global market, Hyundai has come up with the renovated Tucson that sports an ultra modern look.

The latest version of the Tucson is going to hit the global market in 2010. It features a curvaceous exterior with keen edges to entice the onlookers. Its sides and angles are reflective of those of the Nissan Murano. Based on the new Elantra’s platform, the chassis of the Tucson is stiffer and stronger enough to bear the whims of caprice weather. Hyundai’s claim that the Tucson has greater bending rigidity than the Rogue is not a hot air.

After its renovation, the Tucson comes up with 17-in wheels. The wheelbase is longer by 0.4 inch than what it was in 2009. The crossover is longer by 2.9 inches and lower by 0.9 inches and wider by an inch. Track is wider by about 2 inches with its turning circle that is 7 inches tighter. Backed by a six-speed automatic or manual, a 2.4-liter inline-four keeps the mechanism of the Hyundai Tucson powered. The model will be available with a second engine, 2.0-liter four to join the bandwagon of fuel economy.

The latest Tucson has shed a weight of 61 pound. It weighs in proportion to its power that is best in class. The signs of fuel economy improvement that the Hyundai model features include weight reduction, electric power steering and silica tires. Powered by the new engine, the Tucson feels quicker and spryer facing no trouble at freeway speeds. The mode of the transmission with tap up and down shifting is manual.

It was all about the basic configuration of the renovated Hyundai Tucson. Touches of renovation lurk also in the interior of the model that will be unveiled in 2010.

Right Pallet stacker

If you are trying to deal with pallets then it's quite simple that you would like to go for heaping them. Be it is a warehouse in order to save the space or be it is a truck that you are looking for delivering goods, a forklift can be immensely helpful for you regarding this matter. But it should be used very cautiously; otherwise it may lead to many hazards especially when you are operating this in a place where many workers are moving. At present an alternate option is being accepted by many warehouses is pallet stackers. This equipment does have the capability to work in the narrow areas and it is also very safe to use and no professional with certificate is required to operate the same.

An electric pallet stacker

Electric pallet stacker(s) are driven by electric motor. It has been designed in order to pick up, consolidate pallets & deliver. If you will check the average weight of empty pallet then it will be around 2o-40 kg. The size might vary & might be around 100*122 cm. So you can assume that how problematic it might be to lift & stack even an empty pallet manually. But if the pallet will be fully loaded then it will be almost impossible to manage without motorized assistance. In case the weight doesn't exceed 1500kg(s), an electric pallet stacker will be able to carry loaded pallets. But if you want to carry heavy load then you need to take help of heavy duty stacker.

If you will try to categorize as per design then there will be three types, those are as follows:

1) Counterweight stabilized forklifts

2) Fork over pallet

3) Straddle legged forklifts

A Look into the Hardcore Mechanism and Dynamic Personality of Dodge Challenger 1320

Dodge is about to unveil its latest crossover and scorch the SEMA show next month. Modeled on the Dodge Charger and named the Challenger 1320, this retro coupe from the automotive line of Dodge is a street-running version of the racer, Mopar Drag Pak Challenger. Though not much dynamic as the Chevrolet Camaro or Ford Mustang, the Challenger is masculine enough to make other vehicles on the road feel the awe of its presence.

The high-tech mechanism of Dodge Challenger 1320’s configuration is at the heart of its smooth and speed run on the road. Mopar’s aluminum, 7.0-liter V-8 Hemi crate engine keeps it powered. Electric exhaust cutouts add to the run of the car for additional flow at the strip. A 556 hp and 540 pound-feet of force emanates from the engine of the Challenger 1320. A row of gears directs the power through a six-speed manual transmission to Mopar police wheels that are wrapped in sticky Nitto rubber.

Dodge Challenger 1320 offers a plush feel in its simple and sophisticated inside. A sport-steering wheel, a Hurst shifter and Viper seats add to the sophistication of the inside. The inner being of the car has shed off center console, rear seat and radio to lighten the weight a little bit. It makes the application of non-hardcore unnecessary.

Steeped in the tinges of yellow paint, Dodge Challenger 1320 can be called “Acidic Hue”. It features carbon fiber for the grille panel, front spoiler, scooped hood and headline surround. The immaculate outer surface reflects the sparkles of splendor to dazzle the eyes of onlookers. The Challenger 1320 speaks of its personality in the flawless function, cozy inside, flamboyant outlook and hard-core mechanism.

The MP4-12C – the Ruling-the-race Sportscar from McLaren Automotive

From a range of high-performance sports cars, the McLaren MP4-12C deserves to be tagged as a ruling-the-race car. With the specifications of a mid-engine sports car, this would-be-launched model from McLaren is petite in size and pretty in look. What is the most special about the 2-seat MP4-12C is that carryover parts from any other car are absent from its being. Priced in a range of $200,000–$285,000, it will surely mirror the personality of its possessor.

A one-piece Carbon MonoCell tub forms the heart of this future launch from McLaren. McLaren wants this model to shrug off expensive carbon body panels and to be light in wheels, high-exit exhaust system and forged-aluminum brake hubs due to high strengths and light weight of the MonoCell. The M838T, a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6 that is manufactured and assembled by McLaren is the key to the functional being of the car. It features not only intake manifolds, composite cam covers and dual variable valve timing but also a flat-place crankshaft within its framework.

Proactive Chassis Control system, meant for class-leading performance and ride comfort is a standout feature of the car’s double-wishbone suspension. Traditional anti-roll bars are replaced with adjustable roll control to keep a check on the car’s pace through the hydraulic dampers. The three modes that are easily adjustable from the cockpit facilitate the transmission. To reduce understeer in a corner, there is Brake Steer, another feature that applies brake force to the inside rear wheel. It can also prevent the spinning of the inside rear tire on acceleration. Adding to the car’s stopping power is a rear airbrake.
The car’s body is made as narrow as possible to ensure more weight savings. The cockpit of the MP4-12C is as clean and clear, stylish and sophisticated. The forward-tilting, butterfly doors attribute a funky look to the being of the MP4-12C. The armrest of the doors comes with individual climate controls. The car’s styling is somewhat striking and somewhat subdued to avoid the “look-at-me” image that becomes rude and rough. The MP4-12C, a highly ambitious project of McLaren Automotive is set to hit the race road in the year of 2011.
